The establishment of our Monvalle facility in the 1970s marked a pivotal moment, positioning us as a trusted European leader. Through the 1980s and 1990s, we built a worldwide manufacturing network, expanding to China, Czech Republic, and Spain.

Milan Workshop Founded
1940s
Monteferro begins as a small metalworking shop in Milan, Italy. With dedication to quality and precision, the foundation is laid for what would become a world leader in elevator guide rail manufacturing.
Incorporation & Monvalle Facility
1973
Formal incorporation of Monteferro S.p.A. and establishment of headquarters in Monvalle, Varese. This strategic location near Milan provides excellent access to European markets and begins our journey toward industrial excellence.
European Expansion
1980s-90s
Significant growth across Europe with specialized focus on elevator guide rail manufacturing. Development of proprietary technologies and quality standards that would become industry benchmarks. Achievement of ISO certifications and recognition as a trusted supplier to major elevator manufacturers.
First International Ventures
1991-1999
